Leadership & Young people

Many young people suffer from fragile livelihoods, are unemployed or underemployed in a large and poorly regulated informal sector.

    If properly harnessed, young people could spur development and guarantee peace. Those in formal employment especially young women, suffer labor rights violations and other forms of exploitation.

    AAIU works to expand opportunities for young people to realize their leadership and right to better livelihood through activities like;

    1. Practical skills development that can contribute to self-employment among the poor and unemployed youth.
    2. Leadership development, to increase their participation in different spheres of community.
