INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR THE SALE OF USED ASSETS

LOT 1: Motor Vehicles – can be viewed at the address below. - Kampala 

LOT 2: Containers - can be viewed at the address below. -  Kampala 

LOT 3: Generators, Motorcycles, Television screen, Laptops, printers etc 

LOT 4: Other Used Items include Beds, Mattresses, chairs, fridges etc many more (Kampala). List of which shall be availed during viewing. 

Items will be displayed for public viewing at different ActionAid International Uganda office locations. 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

All items shall be displayed for Public Viewing/ Bid submission at location below. 

• Kampala - ActionAid International Uganda, Plot 2514/2515 Ggaba Road, Tel +256754813170 . From Monday 27th July 2026 to Friday 31st July 2026 from 09:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Bid Forms will be obtained from the viewing location (Reception) upon payment through the bank on

A non-refundable fee of UGX 200,000 [Two Hundred Thousand Shillings only] per item in LOT1, UGX100,000 [One hundred Thousand Shillings only] per item in LOT2, UGX50,000 (Fifty thousand shillings) per item in LOT3, UGX 20,000 [Twenty Thousand Shillings only] per item in LOT4. 

• Bid forms shall be submitted in Sealed Envelopes clearly marked “OFFER TO PURCHASE USED REFERENCE NUMBER e.g. VEHICLE/2026/01’’ and addressed to; The Chairperson National Procurement & Disposal Committee as per locations and dates above.

 • Bids for Kampala office shall be opened on Wednesday 5th August 2026 at 10:00 am, in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend. 

1. The Terms of Sale are strictly “As Is” “Where Is”, and Successful Bidders shall be required to make 100% payment or a 25% non-refundable commitment fee within 2 days and the balance (75%) within 3 working days from the date of the award letter, failure of which shall automatically lead to cancellation of the offer; 

NOTE: Where the balance due is not paid as specified, the bid shall lapse and the bidder shall forfeit the amount paid; 

2. All interested bidders for LOT 1 & 2 above are required to have an updated Tax Identification Number (TIN) and this should be clearly indicated on your sealed offer; 

3. ActionAid International Uganda is not obliged to accept the highest or any bid at all. Therefore, retains the right of sale.
