Rest in Peace Andrew Collin Asega Yoti

We are deeply saddened to announce the untimely passing of our dear colleague and friend, Andrew Collin Asega Yoti, who tragically lost his life in a fatal accident on 9 July 2025.

Andrew joined ActionAid International Uganda in 2007 and has served faithfully in the Information Technology (IT) Department ever since. With over 17 years of dedicated service, he was one of the longest-serving members of our team and a pillar in one of the organization’s most sensitive and essential departments.

Andrew will be remembered for his unwavering dedication, humility, and professionalism. His contribution to ensuring the smooth running of our IT systems enabled many of us to do our work efficiently and effectively. His legacy will remain woven into the fabric of ActionAid’s mission and impact.

Funeral arrangements are as follows:

• Funeral Service:
  12 July 2025 at Bugonga Catholic Church, Entebbe
• Vigil:
  To be held at his home on Nile Road, opposite White House, off Santa Maria Hotel, Bugonga, Entebbe
• Burial:
  Namirembe Village, Kayunga District, starting at 12:00 PM

As we mourn this profound loss, we stand with Andrew’s family and loved ones in grief and solidarity, while also celebrating a life well-lived and a legacy of dedicated service.
