This week, I will simply say thank you to all Ugandans who have made a bold statement by signing to petition the President not to assent to the Income Tax Amendment that exempts legislators from paying taxes on their allowances. By the time of the production of this publication, we had hit 3.2million signatures.
The Impact is visible, the Presidential Press Secretary has come out to distance the President from assenting to any “bad bill”!
