Yesterday evening, i learnt with excitement that our Country Director, Arthur Larok was among the two CSO leaders that were selected to represent the NGOs in the country on the National Bureau for NGOs. Now, this is no mean achievement. The second representative is Magrate Sekajja, the former Chairperson of the Human Rights commission. This news could not fit in this publication. Look out for a special feature on the lady and gentleman in the next edition.
Aside from the celebratory news, we continue to mourn for the poor education infrastructure in Nebbi, but hopeful that last Thursday’s dialogue that brought three ministers under one roof will go a long way in improving service delivery in the country.
Enjoy your week and Ramathan Kareem to the Muslims in this audience.
